Diana + Shawn : Downtown Nashville Engagement Session / Nashville Photographer

I am just in love with the images from this session.

I am shooting Diana and Shawn's wedding next year, and we met up for their 2 hour engagement session this week in downtown Nashville.  They wanted to capture a few different areas of downtown, including the table at Dan McGuiness where they had their first drink together.  They brought the best clothes, I just loved the kelly green dress Diana wore with Shawn in a checkered blue.  These two were troopers, and climbed up and down the pedestrian bridge (Diana in her heels!!) several times.  We then walked down to Broadway, and then headed to Dan McGuiness and Centennial Park where we were forced to shoot QUICK as a thunderstorm quickly ended our shoot, LOL.

They are so fun and I just know they are going to have an amazing wedding!

Hope you all love your sneak peek!!! :)

Courtney + Mike : Cedarwood Engagement Session / Nashville Photographer

Courtney and Mike drove in this weekend from the Cincinnati area to do their engagement session!  They are tying the knot next July at one of my favorite venues, Cedarwood and I just know it's going to be a gorgeous day.

They brought the cutest outfits, and even went the extra mile to get a boat lined up to do some awesome lake photos.  They were true troopers, as it was at least 90 degrees out and HOT.  I mean, really HOT.  But the heat didn't phase them, and we had a great shoot!  I do have to say... I don't think they'll be joining a rowing team soon though... we did have a teeny issue with rowing the boat into the lake (LOL!) but we eventually got the boat where we needed it. And in the meantime, they had a good laugh while trying to maneuver the boat.

It was great working with you all, I cannot WAIT until your wedding!!!

Colton

I cannot BELIEVE sweet baby Colton is ONE??!! Simply not possible. *sigh* I just adore this family, and Colton is the sweetest little guy. He loves his mama... And I just love how he snuggles up to her all the time, it's so sweet. How funny are the smash cake photos?  He definitely wasn't shy when it came time to eat some cake!  Happy birthday Colton! Great seeing you all, as always! Krista

Mr. Bennett! Nashville and Murfreesboro Photographer

I always love seeing this family! The Scheetz's have been clients of mine since their wedding and I swear, they have the HAPPIEST babies on the face of this planet. Braxton was always a little baby model, and would smile and smile some more with zero fussing. Little brother Bennett is following in his footsteps, and just smiled the entire shoot. I think Amber should write a book on this, because she definitely wins the prize for always having the happiest babies! It was great seeing you all as always, hope you love the preview!! :) Krista

Kristy + Jim : Cedarwood Wedding / Nashville Wedding Photographer

I am so lucky to have such amazing couples this year.  Kristy and Jim came in for their final meeting and absolutely cracked me up.  Kristy kept repeating... I don't really care if we have many photos at all.  I just want a few good ones, that's it!  You don't have to take many at all.... LOL!  Talk about making my job laid back and easy.

Regardless of what visions you have for your wedding, I can't just stand there and not take photos haha... So we did our best to be super unobtrusive and laid back, while still getting some amazing photos of them on their big day.

Kristy and Jim are both so perfect for each other, their ceremony was sweet and heartfelt and their day just amazing. I think everyone enjoyed themselves... and the fun upbeat vibe of the whole event was felt by all.  Cedarwood did an awesome job as always, and the day was seamless.  I loved the flowers hung from the tree they were married under, and the vintage car was a beautiful end to the night!

Kristy and Jim, it was so fun spending the day with you all!  I hope you love your preview!!!  More soon :) :)
