We had the privilege of sharing the day with this amazing couple at Cedarwood here in Nashville, TN. Lori and Rob have the sweetest story. Lori was pursuing a PhD and had the eventual goal to start working with wounded veterans at Walter Reed. She and Rob connected on an online forum for spinal cord injuries and hit it off. They ended up meeting on Christmas Day, 2011. After dating long distance for 2 years, Rob popped the question on Christmas Day, 2013.
They had the most amazing day at Cedarwood. Lori's vision for her wedding was airy spring colors, with bird and birdcage accents and an organic wild grown feel. As always, the team at Cedarwood pulled her vision together flawlessly! We loved the tiny daisies that sprung out of all of the vintage birdcage centerpieces, and the hand tied ribbons that roses hung from during the ceremony.
It rained off and on the entire day and we had to coordinate photos in between each passing shower. Lori later said that they didn't mind a little rain on their wedding day, because the first time she went to Rob's house, it was storming. She said he was a goner when the wind accidentally blew her mini skirt up!! LOL!
All around, it was such a great day for everyone involved. Thanks so much for letting us share in your joy. Congratulations, Lori & Rob!! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness! xoxo
