Jennifer Bridal Shoot

I am just completely. totally. in LOVE with this session! Jennifer and her hubby tied the knot a few weeks ago in a very intimate secret beach ceremony. She really wanted to get some professional bridal portraits done though, so we planned to do a 2 hour session after the big day.

We got together on Friday at her husband's family's AMAZING mansion in Adams, Tennessee. I am not normally a history buff, but this place completely amazed me and I couldn't stop asking questions about it, LOL. This mansion was built by a cousin of George Washington himself (yes, THE George Washington) and at one time sat on land that was part of the largest dark-fired tobacco farm in the nation, and possibly world.  It is nothing short of amazing.

Jennifer looked so stunning in her strapless gown, and although it was pretty hot outside, she managed to be laid back and easy to work with for the entire shoot!  She looked gorgeous, I loved her hair (curled into large barrel curls) and her sparkly tiara!  So pretty.

Jennifer, Dale, and family.. It was so fun working with you!  I just adore these images, and I hope you do as well!!

Recent photo shoots : Nashville Photographer

A few images from recent photo shoots!!!

Lauren's A-MAZING bridal shoot... Was dying to post these right after we did them, but of course I had to wait until her groom saw her in the dress first ;)  She was such a trooper and climbed right in with the horses, LOVE how these turned out!!!

this guy reeeeeeeeaallly liked Lauren, kept following her around and giving her horse kisses... ha!!!

One of my favorite clients, Ms. Ashlie Kolb!
 a few updated headshots....

 and some more smokin' ones!!!
Ms. Jacklyn is getting SO big!   And is such a little model... She made my job easy for her shoot and smiled the ENTIRE time :) :)
 Love that face!
I have been antique store shopping to freshen up our props at the studio... This turquoise chair was a great find!

Mom and dad brought coordinating outfits that photographed beautifully... Love the 4th of July theme!!!
 What a sweetie!
And no 1 year old shoot would be complete without a smash cake!

Olivia's Bridal Photos.. Carnton Plantation / Nashville Photographer

I cannot WAIT for Olivia's wedding.  Not only is she absolutely stunning (and I've heard a rumor that her fiance is pretty photogenic himself as well :) ), she is planning a very unique vintage wedding here in December!  We met out at Carnton Plantation, one of my absolutely favorite places to shoot.  The weather was gorgeous and we couldn't have asked for a prettier day!  Normally, I cannot post bridals (as we obviously don't want the groom to accidentally see them), but in this case he is overseas and so Olivia gave us the go ahead (whoo hoo! )  Olivia, I am completely in love with how your photo shoot turned out!   I hope you love them as much as I do!  ~Krista

Some previews...

From Candice's bridal session (don't worry, she's already married so we don't have to hide her dress pics!) and from Scott Leslie's promo shoot!  Thanks to Laney for helping with all the awesome ideas for Candice's shoot, and to Mike for shadowing and helping on the insanely hot downtown shoot (it was 100 degrees in the shade!)... Hope you all have a great weekend :)  -Krista
