Carnton Plantation is one of my favorite wedding venues!! I love the history, stunning house and intimate setting. I was so excited that Elizabeth & Matt choose it for their wedding. We had a beautiful fall day for Elizabeth & Matt's day last Saturday. She wore a stylish strapless lace gown and looked like a picture perfect southern belle. I loved the beautiful white hydrangeas and fresh moss that decorated the ceremony area. Their pastor paid homage to the history of the house and the civil war battle that took place there and really connected Elizabeth & Matt's love story to the thousands of weddings performed under the same Osage Orange tree. All the bridesmaids were stunning and ladylike and the groomsmen were charming and hilarious. A great meal (hello shrimp & grits!!) and rock and roll band Top Tier capped off the evening. What a sweet couple and truly southern party!! Hope you love your previews!
