Katie and David : Hermitage Hotel + West End United Methodist Wedding : Nashville Wedding Photographer

Kate and David were college sweethearts who drifted apart. On Saturday, about 15 years later and a few miles the road, they married each other in one of our sweetest, most intimate weddings of the season.

They married at West End United Methodist Church, which despite the rain and clouds, provided a stunning backdrop for photos. Kate choose a flowing gown with an elegant cape. She simply floated!! David looked so handsome and was a great sport!! (He doesn't like his picture taken but put up with us for hours!!)
David and I actually knew each other at MTSU which was a pleasant surprise... I didn't meet him at our initial meeting so I had no idea that he was someone I knew, LOL.  Too funny.  Kate dressed her flower girls in the most precious tutus ever!! They looked like snow fairies with matching tiaras.

After the ceremony, they invited their twenty-six guests to a wonderful lunch at the stunning Hermitage Hotel. Served on the veranda {which was elegantly decorated for Christmas} and accompanied by a piano player, they enjoyed a multi-course lunch. The kids table? Adorable. Kate put together a coloring book for her young guests which told Kate and David's love story. Pink horses, purple hair and many creative color choices later, the kids seemed to be having a blast.  What a unique way to incorporate the story of their day, we just loved that idea.

This was our last wedding of 2012 and we loved being a part of your day!!  Dave and Katie, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!  Hope you love your previews :)
