Their day started with Kat hopping out of the car at Cedarwood, absolutely BEAMING. She looked radiant and so gorgeous, and you could tell she was so excited to be getting married to Christian! Her mom and maids helped her get into her gorgeous classic dress, and then she proceeded to head out onto the front porch of Cedarwood mansion to see her dad for the first time. It was such a sweet moment for all of them. Her dad is so proud of her.... and he was smiling from ear to ear when he saw how beautiful she looked! She and mom held back tears as she walked toward her parents for a hug. Such a great moment.
The boys were fun and laid back, and Amy had a great time photographing them as they got ready. We didn't want Christian to accidentally run into Kat before the ceremony, so we carefully escorted both of them around the grounds to avoid bumping into each other.
Kat had a vision for her wedding... Elegant and preppy, and she chose gorgeous, striking hues of royal blue and blush pinks. The Cedarwood staff (as always) pulled this look together flawlessly! From the royal blue fabric accents, to the creme and light rose colored flowers, to the elegant European string lights drawn across the pavilion... the grounds were STUNNING and absolutely perfect! Overheard were numerous "ooooh's" and "ahhh's" from the guests as they walked in. They were floored by the beauty, colors, and personal touches of the entire event.
The ceremony was so heartfelt. Christian and Kat exchanged vows in an open field under a gorgeous sky, surrounded by their friends and loved ones. They then proceeded to an open-air reception, where guests were treated to chefs... pan searing each one of the meals in front of them. They then moved to the terrace, where they danced the night away with all of their friends!
It was such a magical day. We were so happy to be able to share the day with everyone! Congrats, Kat and Christian, we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!!!
xoxo
