Haley + Jake : Elegant Southern Garden Wedding / Carnton Planation Franklin, Tennessee

Hands down, Carnton Plantation in Franklin, Tennessee is one of the most beautiful Southern plantations I have ever seen.  From the sprawling back porch of the house, to the restored antebellum gardens, to the breathtaking grounds, this historic venue is a showstopper.  Haley and Jake tied the knot here, under the 160 year old Osage Orange tree, in front of a gathering of friends and family on Saturday.

I met Haley a couple of years ago, when she was working at the daycare my son goes to.  She was still in school pursuing her teaching degree, and worked at Kids R Kids when she wasn't attending MTSU.  She is calm and sweet, and has such a warm personality.  We just adored her! I was so excited when she decided to hire me for her wedding :) :)  Her and Jake make the perfect couple.  I just love the way they look at each other, and I heard from numerous family members on Saturday that they just couldn't get over how cute they are together.

After a private moment before the ceremony, Haley and Jake met up with their bridal party and family to do photos.  I LOVED all of the accents Haley chose for her wedding day...  Light blush pink floor length gowns for the girls, crisp white shirts paired with linen suits and preppy pink ties for the guys, and baby's breath bouquets to tie everything together. A perfect match for a summer garden wedding!!

The ceremony was so sweet, I'm pretty sure there was not a dry eye in the crowd as they said their vows.  They then headed to a cocktail hour on the back porch of the mansion, and then into the gorgeous reception.  Guests ate dinner while the sun set, under a huge tent and italian string lights.  It was a picture perfect day... and simply couldn't have been much better :)

Haley and Jake, congratulations!  You two are so sweet, and we just loved spending the day with you both!  Hope you are having a great honeymoon!!!  :)
