I met Joanna and her mom earlier this year, and I just had a sneaking suspicion after meeting them that Joanna and Ryan's day was going to be classy, elegant, and beautiful. Joanna is stunningly beautiful, she has bright, sparkling blue eyes and a sweet personality to boot. She and her girls prepared at East Main Church of Christ in Murfreesboro. We adored the classic gown Joanna chose, with the sheer overlay that went over the skirt. Her sparkling blue earrings matched her pretty blue eyes, and as she walked out of her room with her orchid bouquet in hand everyone was in awe of how pretty she looked! Ryan and the groomsmen got ready downstairs (so that he and Joanna would not accidentally run into each other) where they all had a great time laughing and hanging out.
Joanna's dad presided over the ceremony, and kept it short and sweet. We did a few photos in the sanctuary at the church, then quickly headed to Joanna's home in Bell Buckle for the reception. I was dying to get some photos of J+R out in the country, where she grew up. It was a little muddy and was getting dark quick, so we only were able to do a few minutes of outdoor bride and groom photos, but I just love how they turned out! Joanna's dad farms the land that is in the background of all of the photos... Love it!
They had a very elegant reception. Their home is gorgeous and was the perfect backdrop for a formal event. For additional room, they had a candlelit tented area, complete with hor d'oeuvres, live music, and lovely decor. Everyone had a fabulous time!
Joanna and Ryan, congratulations! We wish you both a lifetime of happiness!!!
