A few pics from the road...

I am actually home in Geneva, Illinois this weekend to do a little work and visit my family!  I LOVE the midwest summers, the weather is perfect and it is just plain awesome up here.  If I had it my way I would live up here all summer, live in Nashville in the fall and spring, and be on a beach somewhere over the winter (haha!).  Ah, wishful thinking...

Thought I would post a few fun photos of our weekend.  My sister and I went to the county fair, where we spent so much time growing up.  I grew up riding horses and we would take them to the fair every year....  These photos were taken before my camera BROKE so I don't have as many from the entire weekend as I would have liked, but oh well :) I was changing out a lens when a big chunk of plastic fell out of the interior of the Canon 5D.  Not sure what the piece is, but I am pretty sure it probably needs it to work properly haha!  Luckily I have 4 backup cameras waiting for me in Nashville, and Canon Pro Services to fix my broken camera in the meantime.

This photo almost gives me motion sickness just looking at it....

My favorite game in the WORLD.. .Horse racing, only kinda with a skee-ball element to it.  The perfect combination.
